30 Seconds To...

You were expecting 30 Seconds to Mars, right? Sorry to disappoint just "30" (I actually set it to 45 for most/all of these) second sketches. Photoshop was lagging with the first set, but I am running a small clusterfuck of programs, so it's understandable. It just... never did this before the upgrade (I got Leopard because I needed ONE program for ONE class >.>)... So yeah. I missed a day, but I think it'll be okay. Right?

21! Player Wins!

XD Hahaha! Anyways, more 30 second sketches. I might be getting a little better already. Anyways, 21 this time. Because I can never seem to do just 10... I think my favorite thing about this is that I'm definitely seeing angles that I generally don't but that are used a lot in animation and illustration. Which does beg the question of who the fuck started using them in the first place... But still, who ever did was awesome. And probably looked up a lot of skirts. >.< More tonight, so long as I don't forget!

30 Second Sketches

Oh god, exporting killed it! Now you really can't see what's going on! Not that you could have before...

So I'm working really hard on improving. First thing to do was to work on drawing from a model/life. I'm too poor to hire one so I choose the next best thing: the internet! And, because I'm allergic to porn (pfffft!), I used this nifty thing here to help me out. I was actually working okay just now until Grace randomly IM'd me and I kinda exploded on her. >.>; It was at the end of a sketch, so it's cool. But yeah. I'm hoping I really can do two five-minute sessions a day. These here were done in Manga Studio Debut but I'll probably be working in Painter or Photoshop from now on because I need to stop using line so much. In fact, here's a list of areas where I seriously need to focus and improve.

1. Focus >.<
2. Values
3. Lineless painting
4. Line weight
5. Perspective
